Adaptive Sports Northwest is excited to bring attention and awareness of the abilities of those with physical disabilities to the 2017 Hood To Coast relay race. This race is one of the world’s largest relay race that includes 1,000 teams of 12 running from the top of Mt. Hood to the coastline at Seaside, Oregon. This is a 192 mile course. Each runner is required to run 3 different legs during a 24 hour period.
This is the 7th year with an Adaptive Sports Northwest team: all of these teams have been composed of disabled athletes, members and friends of The Portland Pounders Wheelchair Rugby Team as well as ASNW volunteers & supporters. This year’s team is once again composed of members and friends of The Portland Pounders!
All the runners have fundraising goals once again this year, and we are reaching out to our friends, families and supporters.
